Enabling an interactive English learning experience
We partnered with Nefele.AI, an innovative educational startup, to develop an interactive English learning experience for IELTS aspirants.
Nefele.ai, an innovative eLearning startup focused on helping school students excel in their English exams, approached Nevexo with the goal of transforming their MVP into a comprehensive learning platform. The primary goal was to develop a robust, interactive platform capable of supporting a variety of exercises tailored specifically for major English exams such as IELTS and Cambridge. This new platform needed to address previous shortcomings by providing seamless progress tracking, saving all user interactions, and offering a diverse range of practice activities. The ultimate aim was to enhance the overall user experience and ensure the platform could effectively support students in their exam preparation.
During the project, Nevexo faced several technical challenges. One significant challenge was improving the speed of Nefele.ai’s AI services to enhance platform interactivity. Initially, AI responses took a long time to process, negatively impacting the user experience. To resolve this, we worked closely with the Nefele team to optimize the AI’s performance, significantly reducing response times.
Another challenge involved the creation and continuous updating of accurate progression charts. Given the complex nature of IELTS scoring, we needed to develop "on-the-fly" methods to calculate and update scores across multiple categories after each valid exercise. Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of these updates required innovative solutions and thorough testing.
Software Consulting and Development
Using an agile development methodology, we developed a custom MVP for Nefele.ai that included key features such as user registration, account management, various exercise types (reading, writing, speaking), AI voice analysis, dynamic charts, dashboards with user progress tracking, and an admin panel for managing content and users.
Customizable Exercises
The platform supports a variety of exercise types, including three different formats for speaking exercises and two for writing. Each exercise is tailored to the user’s needs and preferences, enhancing the learning experience.
UI/UX Design
We understood that a smooth and intuitive user interface is critical for an eLearning platform like Nefele.ai, where the goal is to maximize user engagement and learning outcomes. Our team of designers worked closely with Nefele.ai to create a comprehensive set of mockups for all pages, from the landing page to the user profile. The focus was on creating a visually appealing and functionally robust design that enhances the user experience.
Landing Page Design
We crafted an engaging landing page that clearly communicates Nefele.ai’s value proposition and guides users toward signing up for the platform.
The project received excellent feedback from users and a 5-star review from Nefele.ai on Clutch.co, where they praised our professionalism, transparency, and deep knowledge. While numerical results are not yet available, this positive feedback reflects the platform’s success in meeting client and user needs.
